The Champions League Anthem Reimagined

“Rhythm, Passion and Football: Europe’s Game, Africa’s Beat” is a short film that celebrates the electrifying fusion of African dance, and sports, to the theme song of the European Champions League anthem. 
Through a seamless blend of “Afrobeats”, a genre pioneered in the late 1960s and '70s, and traditional dance movements and vibrant costumes from Southern Nigeria and Cameroon, this film celebrates the rich cultural heritage woven into the spirit of global football.

Captured through 12 hours of dedicated filming and countless rehearsals, this three-minute production radiates artistry, rhythm, and cultural pride —an exhilarating showcase of movement and passion.
At its core, the film honors Africa’s deep love for football and its undeniable influence on the Champions League— from the legendary players gracing the pitch to the devoted fans celebrating every goal from our homes and viewing centers across the continent.
